SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 14, 2024) – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified James E. Vasser, 22, of Victorville, as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 9:55 p.m. at the intersection of Amethyst Road and Mojave Drive, where Victorville Police and emergency responders found Vasser’s Kia Soul had collided head-on with a Chevrolet Tahoe.
Vasser sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tahoe’s driver was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Victorville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is handling the investigation.
