Woman Hospitalized Following House Fire in Florence Area
FLORENCE, CA (April 14, 2024) — A house fire in the Florence neighborhood resulted in injuries for a woman on Saturday evening. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the emergency call at a residence on the 300 block of W. 82nd Street around 9:30 p.m.
A team of 40 firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze in just over 15 minutes. According to LAFD, an adult female was found outside the home with injuries that were not specified in the report. She was promptly transported to a local hospital; her current condition has not been disclosed.
No other individuals were reported to be in the house at the time of the Florence house fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation as authorities work to determine the specifics of the incident.
