A 12-year-old boy was killed after a car-van collision that took place on Woodman Avenue Sherman Oaks Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at about 10:17 a.m. The 12-year-old and his twin were reportedly in the car as their mother drove a gray Lexus when they suddenly crashed into a yellow GMC moving truck parked on the side of the road.
The boy, who sat in the passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. The boy’s twin brother and mother were taken to the hospital and are fortunately in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
