Bus Collides with SUV in Downtown Los Angeles, Driver Injured
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 17, 2024) — A Foothill Transit bus collided with an SUV on Thursday morning in downtown Los Angeles, resulting in injuries to the bus driver. The crash occurred at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Olive Street, according to KTLA’s Gil Leyvas.
Emergency responders extracted the bus driver from the vehicle and transported them to a local hospital. The driver’s condition remains unknown. The SUV driver stayed at the scene and appeared uninjured.
The bus crash with SUV in LA led to the complete shutdown of Olympic Boulevard in both directions near the crash site. The duration of the road closure is currently unclear.
