Car Crash in Placentia Claims High Schooler’s Life, Injures Four [Orange County, CA]

ORANGE COUNTY, CA (June 5, 2024) — A tragic collision in Placentia, Orange County Tuesday morning resulted in the death of a 17-year-old high school student and injuries to four others.
At approximately 8:15 a.m., at the intersection of Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue, a 1984 Corvette, driven by El Dorado High School junior Zach Henn, was struck by a Range Rover. The Range Rover was operated by a 39-year-old woman accompanied by two juveniles.
Zach, who had recently purchased the Corvette, was en route to school with another male juvenile passenger in his vehicle. The precise cause of the Zach Henn crash, including whether a red light was disregarded, remains under investigation.
