Female Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (July 26, 2024) — A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in San Jose on Thursday evening, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The incident happened at around 6:26 p.m. near the intersection of Tully Road and La Ragione Avenue. The woman was walking in the street when she was hit. She was transported to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The location of the San Jose pedestrian accident is near the Nuestra Tierra Community Garden and the Tully Community Branch Library.
San Jose police closed the westbound Tully Avenue for several hours between Lucretia Avenue and Senter Road as officers investigated the scene.
