“Home Improvement” Star Arrested on DUI Charges in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 20, 2024) — Zachery Ty Bryan, best known for his role on the ’90s sitcom “Home Improvement,” was arrested for driving under the influence in Riverside County, California, during the early hours of February 17.
The arrest occurred after deputies from the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station initiated a traffic stop in La Quinta, identifying Bryan’s vehicle as being possibly linked to a recent traffic incident.
Upon interaction, deputies noted signs of impairment in Bryan, leading to his arrest on charges of DUI with priors, a felony offense, alongside a misdemeanor charge for contempt of court. The 42-year-old actor was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio, with bail set at $65,000 across both charges.
Bryan secured release on bail later that day and is scheduled for a court appearance on April 23 at the Indio Larson Justice Center. This DUI charge in Riverside adds to Bryan’s recent legal issues, including a 2023 arrest in Oregon on charges including domestic violence.
