Los Angeles Man Dies in Road-Rage Incident in West Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 7, 2024) — A 68-year-old Los Angeles man lost his life in a road-rage incident that followed a minor parking lot collision in West Hollywood.
The altercation occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday at a convenience store parking lot in the 7900 block of West Santa Monica Boulevard. After a minor traffic collision, an argument ensued between the two men involved. The confrontation escalated, resulting in one man knocking the other unconscious.
Paramedics found the victim, Armando Gabriel, 68, unconscious on the sidewalk. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities arrested Ramon Casas, 48, of Bell Gardens at the scene of the road rage incident in West Hollywood. Casas was booked for murder and is being held on $2 million bail. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Thursday.
