A 50-year-old woman was hospitalized after a San Diego Metropolitan Transit System bus ran over her left foot in El Cerrito on Thursday afternoon.
Police report that the incident happened on the 6000 block of University Avenue at approximately 4:54 p.m. The woman was attempting to retrieve a water bottle that had fallen into the street in front of the bus’s rear right tire when she lost her balance.
