Early this morning, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 184, police reported.
The incident happened just before 6 a.m. when a black Nissan was traveling along the highway. Witnesses gathered at the scene, blocking traffic until emergency personnel arrived. Once the California Highway Patrol and paramedics reached the area, the pedestrian was pronounced dead.
The investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal Highway 184 crash.
