
LOS ANGELES, CA – A robbery attempt led to a dramatic police chase and ended in a violent crash in South Los Angeles on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of one suspect.
The incident began around 10:45 a.m. when LAPD officers responded to a burglary report near Jefferson Boulevard and La Brea Avenue in the West Adams neighborhood. The suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored Tesla, sparking a pursuit through city streets.
Roughly 30 minutes later, the driver lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle at the intersection of 99th Street and Main Street in the Broadway-Manchester area.
The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles. The alleged robber was taken into custody at the scene, while police continued searching for another possible suspect who may have fled following the crash in South Los Angeles.
