YUBA COUNTY, CA – A Yuba Water Agency contractor died Thursday in a tragic workplace accident in Dobbins, a small community in Yuba County in Northern California.
According to official reports, the worker fell down an embankment while operating construction equipment near the New Colgate Powerhouse, located southwest of the New Bullards Bar Reservoir. The incident occurred in the afternoon and prompted an emergency response from local crews.
