
LOS ANGELES, CA – Thursday night, a K9 patrol vehicle from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a serious accident in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles, ending up partially inside a business.
The crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Washington Boulevard and South Vermont Avenue, involving multiple vehicles. The impact destroyed part of the building’s facade, forcing authorities to remove the patrol vehicle using specialized equipment.
Two deputies in the vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, while the police dog remained unharmed. Other cars were also damaged, but no additional injuries were reported.
The Los Angeles K9 patrol accident caused extensive property damage, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
