
SAN DIEGO, CA – A 92-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a Park West accident Monday night at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Grape Street.
According to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD), the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a 78-year-old female driver operating a 2020 Honda Accord. The victim suffered a severe brain contusion but, fortunately, did not require surgery.
Officers from the Traffic Division responded immediately to the scene to begin the investigation. Authorities confirmed that alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the accident.
