FOLSOM, California — A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured while tubing behind a boat at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area on Sunday, raising concerns about water activity safety in the area.
The tubing accident at Folsom Lake occurred near Granite Bay around 2:30 p.m. The boy was taken to a local hospital conscious and alert, and he remained in stable condition, according to official reports.
