
CORONA, CA – A man lost his life in a truck collision on Highway 91 in Corona, near Serfas Club Drive, on Monday, August 18, in the afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver of a 2018 Nissan Versa traveling eastbound veered onto the right shoulder and struck the rear of a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia that was stopped with hazard lights and warning signs displayed.
After the impact, the Nissan continued onto the Sixth Street on-ramp, where the solo driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel.
