
BAKERSFIELD, CA – The baseball community is mourning the loss of Nick Danbrowney, a player for the Bakersfield Train Robbers, who tragically died in a car accident on Monday, August 18, in California.
A GoFundMe organized by his friend Tyler Quinn has already raised over $19,000 to help his family with transportation and funeral expenses.
Danbrowney was well known for his upbeat personality and ability to connect with others, in addition to his undeniable talent on the field. While at Ramapo College, he became the program’s all-time strikeout leader, a record that showcased his skill and dedication to the game. That success led him to play professionally with the Train Robbers in Bakersfield.
