CAJON PASS, CA – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a rollover crash on Highway 138 near Interstate 15 in Hesperia on Wednesday, August 20, around 5:23 p.m.
CHP reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, which went off the road and flipped multiple times. Not wearing a seatbelt, the driver was ejected. Rescue teams conducted a thorough search on the ground and by air to ensure no additional victims were involved. A loose car seat was also reported inside the vehicle.
The driver was transported by ground ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
