Renowned rock and metal guitarist Brent Hinds has died at 51 after a motorcycle accident in Atlanta, Georgia. The musician was killed Wednesday when his Harley Davidson collided with a BMW SUV at an intersection.
Police reported that the SUV driver “failed to yield while turning left,” but remained at the scene.
In a statement, family and former bandmates expressed their grief: “We are devastated, in shock, and trying to process the loss of a creative force who touched so many lives.”
