RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A deadly crash on the 15 Freeway in Temecula left four people dead and two others seriously injured after reckless driving led to tragedy.
The collision happened Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes just north of Winchester Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a BMW driving recklessly in the northbound lanes crossed over the concrete median and crashed head-on into a white Nissan Sentra.
The BMW caught fire after impact. Its 25-year-old driver was pulled out by motorists and rushed in critical condition to Inland Valley Medical Center.
Three passengers inside the BMW—a 23-year-old woman, a 14-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old girl, all from Moreno Valley—were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Nissan’s driver, a 35-year-old man, died while being transported to the hospital.
Authorities continue investigating the exact cause of this tragic Temecula crash.
