BAKERSFIELD, CA – A baby was seriously injured in a car accident in Bakersfield on Sunday night at the intersection of 8th Street and T Street.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the crash involved a silver sedan and a red pickup truck. The baby, a passenger in the sedan, was immediately transported to a hospital. Both drivers declined medical attention and fully cooperated with the investigation.
Preliminary findings indicate that the sedan’s driver was heading north on T Street, while the pickup truck was traveling west on 8th Street. Police confirmed that alcohol or drugs were not a factor.
