DAVIS, CA – A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning after colliding with a truck on Interstate 80, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported.
The truck crash in Davis occurred near Mace Boulevard in a construction zone. According to CHP, the motorcycle struck the truck from behind for unknown reasons, causing the rider to be ejected and subsequently hit by an unidentified vehicle.
Authorities say alcohol and drugs are not suspected at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
