ORANGE, CA — A 19-year-old e-bike rider was critically injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday, September 9, authorities reported.
The e-bike accident in Orange occurred near the intersection of Lewis Street and El Prado Avenue. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The accident led to the closure of Lewis Street in both directions between Lampson Avenue and El Rancho Avenue for approximately six hours. The vehicle driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs were involved.
