UPLAND, CA — A man was arrested early Sunday morning in Upland after crashing his car into several parked vehicles and rolling it over before attempting to flee on foot.
The DUI crash in Upland happened around 4:30 a.m. on Arrow Highway near Campus Avenue. According to police, the driver, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, struck three parked cars before his vehicle overturned. Shockingly, he tried to walk away from the scene but was found and arrested shortly afterward.
Authorities reminded the public about the dangers of driving under the influence: “Don’t put your life or the lives of others at risk. If you’ve been drinking, use a safe ride like Uber or a taxi,” they emphasized.
