SAN BERNARDINO, CA – A fatal head-on collision in San Bernardino County left two people and two dogs dead, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Thursday.

The 26-year-old driver of the Mazda, also from Highland, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Two dogs riding in the Mazda were also killed in the crash, and Animal Control officers responded to handle their remains.
