RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating a motorcycle accident in Corona that occurred over the weekend.
The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, when a motorcycle and a car were traveling in opposite directions near a sharp turn on Cajalco Road, just east of Eagle Canyon Road.
According to OnScene.TV, officers found the motorcycle on the roadway next to a car with front-end damage and a shattered windshield. The unidentified motorcyclist was thrown over a roadside railing and pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the car were treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require transport to a hospital.
Authorities have not yet determined whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
