LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Pacoima that occurred Sunday night, where a man in his 50s was struck and killed while crossing the street.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Van Nuys Boulevard, when the victim was hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck.
The man died at the scene, and the driver fled immediately after the collision. Officers later found the abandoned pickup truck, but the suspect has not yet been located.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about this hit-and-run accident in Pacoima to contact the LAPD Valley Traffic Division.
