FRESNO, CA – A big rig collided with the rear of a school bus on Highway 41 Friday morning following a multi-vehicle crash, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The Fresno school bus accident occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 41 and Adams Avenue near Easton in Fresno County. Authorities say the truck failed to stop and struck the bus, triggering a chain reaction that involved three additional vehicles.
There were no children on the bus at the time of the accident, and no serious injuries were reported, CHP officials said. The roadway remained partially closed while investigators worked on the scene.
