A car crash has left one man dead and another injured on Houston Avenue near Highway 198 in Kings County. The collision happened before 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Investigators report that the driver was speeding west on Houston in a BMW when he failed to navigate the right-hand curve and crashed into a concrete wall.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. The cause is being investigated.
