A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed following a collision with an SUV on Sheldon Road in Elk Grove Wednesday afternoon.
The accident reportedly happened at around 3:50 p.m. An SUV driver was making a left turn on its lane when a motorcyclist heading through the east lanes collided with the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was left with severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital after being given aid.
The passengers of the SUV remain unharmed.
