A woman driver was killed following a car crash that ended in flames at the intersection of Friant and Shepherd and Friant early morning Friday.
Street camera footage showed a BMW speeding into the intersection at around 2 a.m., capturing the moment the vehicle struck the curve and launched into the air before landing into a city work yard.
A fire soon broke out in the vehicle, and once officers and paramedics arrived at the crash, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
