A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to the nearest trauma center following a motorcycle-car collision on the 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass Sunday afternoon.
The crash was reported to authorities at around 4:15 p.m. Initial investigations say that the collision involved a motorcycle and a silver sedan, the force of the crash causing the motorcycle rider to be ejected.
Officers and paramedics arrived and treated the rider at the scene. A helicopter was called to airlift the patient to the nearest hospital for thorough treatment. Though the motorcyclist was still conscious during the transport, their current condition is unknown.
