A driver experiencing a possible medical emergency crashed a truck into a Fresno home on Monday evening.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of McKinley and Cedar avenues. Investigators said the truck was traveling eastbound on McKinley Avenue when the driver lost control, reportedly due to a medical issue.
The vehicle veered across the center median, struck a light pole, entered a front yard, hit a parked vehicle and a tree, before crashing into the front of a home. Officers said the truck penetrated approximately four feet into the structure.
One person was inside the residence at the time but was in a different room and was not injured. Authorities confirmed no injuries were reported from the driver or the occupant.
An investigation into the exact cause of the crash remains ongoing.
