A driver is dead and another driver is injured following a two-vehicle car crash on Sheep Creek Road and Chevoit Road in Phelan Tuesday night.
The crash happened at around 8:49 p.m when a dark-colored SUV had a forceful collision with a silver sedan. The impact caused the SUV to completely flip over and rest on its roof.
Deputies arrived shortly after, and the driver of the silver sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the SUV driver sustained minor injuries but declined medical transportation after signing an AMA form.
