A pedestrian was killed in a car crash involving a marked police car near Houston Avenue and Rinaldi Street in Visalia.
The pedestrian was by the roadway when they were struck by an officer behind the wheel of a patrol vehicle.
Upon transporting the pedestrian to the Kaweah Health Medical Center the victim was pronounced dead.
