A teenage motorcyclist was killed and another person sustained minor injuries following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Alvern Street, near the Playa Summit apartment complex. Police arrived to find the motorcyclist unresponsive and later pronounced the individual dead at the scene.
