Authorities in Folsom are investigating two unrelated fatal car crashes that occurred within a nine-hour span between Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning.
The first crash took place around 4 p.m. Tuesday when a single vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree. Responding officers found the driver unconscious; the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second incident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Golf Links Drive and East Natomas Street. That crash involved two vehicles. One of the drivers died at the scene, while the other was reportedly uninjured.
Folsom Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with either crash. Investigations into both incidents remain ongoing.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
