A 31-year-old man riddled a car with his bullets in pursuit of his ex in Fresno Wednesday afternoon.
The attack happened at Shields and First, and local police were alerted by a 911 call made by a female driver of a BMW with a three-year-old passenger. The woman was fearing for her life as the man was following her car and ramming into the bumper.
The driver stayed on the line until getting off at Jensen just when the authorities arrived at the scene. Police opened fire as soon as the man pulled out a gun and started shooting at the BMW.
Despite the shootout, the suspect continued his rampage and made an attempt to flee, crashing into other vehicles in the process. Thankfully no one was critically injured, and the unnamed suspect was later taken into custody.
