
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a train in Oro Grande on Wednesday, May 7.
The victim, 41-year-old Rodolfo A. Guerrero of Oro Grande, was found dead near the railroad tracks in the 18500 block of National Trails Highway after being hit by a passing train around 5:14 p.m.
Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and confirmed the fatality. The investigation was later turned over to BNSF Railway Police, who continue to look into the circumstances of the incident.
No further details have been released.
