Six people were injured early Saturday morning following a five-vehicle collision on the 10 Freeway in East Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:00 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway near City Terrace Drive. Authorities say the collision involved five vehicles, including a white pickup truck that was left overturned on its side.
Emergency crews responded quickly, treating multiple victims at the scene. Six individuals were transported to local hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, officials said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Several lanes were temporarily closed during the morning commute while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
