A man was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a rollover collision near 15059 La Paz Drive, in front of the Verizon building in Victorville.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:46 p.m., prompting a response from emergency personnel and law enforcement. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered a 2002 Toyota Camry overturned on its roof, with a severely damaged light pole lying on the sidewalk nearby.
According to a female passenger in the vehicle, her boyfriend had been driving when a tire reportedly malfunctioned, causing him to lose control. The Camry veered off course, struck the light pole head-on, and flipped over.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and an investigation is ongoing.
