Southern California surfer Charlos Bentley is in a coma after being struck by a car in a suspected DUI hit-and-run outside his home in Dana Point on Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. while Bentley was loading his truck to take his family on a surfing trip. A vehicle reportedly slammed into Bentley and his parked truck before fleeing the scene. His wife immediately called 911.
