At least one individual was left dead following a fatal crash involving a wrong-driver that took place south of I-15 near Zzyzx Road in Barstow early Sunday morning.
First responders were called to the scene at about 5:17 a.m. and were told one of the vehicles involved was driving the wrong way before the incident.
There were two vehicles involved — a red Kia sedan and another unnamed vehicle, both sustaining severe damages with one being described as “crumpled.”
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. All individuals remain unnamed and the crash is still being investigated.
