A pedestrian was left dead after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 7500 block of W. Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles in Hollywood Sunday evening.
Authorities report the crash happened a little after 9 p.m. The unnamed pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the vehicle involved was a blue Mercedes-Benz G Wagon that was last seen heading south on Gardner from Sunset Boulevard.
Police are still on the search for the person responsible.
