A 67-year-old pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Geary Boulevard and Second Avenue in the Richmond District of San Francisco early Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. near Geary Boulevard and Second Avenue. Responding officers found the injured pedestrian and transported them to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said. No arrests have been made, and the cause of the collision remains under review.
