A 22-year-old Modesto man was killed and another driver seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash near California State University, Stanislaus, late Wednesday night.
Per the Turlock police, the collision happened at around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Geer Road and E. Christoffersen Parkway.
Officers found one of the drivers, identified as Elijah Bland, unresponsive and trapped inside his vehicle. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, a woman, was transported to the hospital with major injuries but is expected to survive. Authorities have not released further details as the investigation is ongoing.
