Three individuals have been arrested in connection to the death of a young boy whose body was discovered in a strip mall parking lot in Panorama City on July 12.
The child, believed to be between 3 and 4 years old, was found lifeless in the lot under circumstances that remain unclear. Officials have not released the cause of death or how long the toddler may have been there before being found.
Police responded to an apartment complex in the 14600 block of Lanark Street at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday.
A woman and one man were detained at the scene, with the male suspect transported by gurney into an ambulance. A second male suspect was later taken into custody around midnight.
All three remain unnamed as the investigation continues. Authorities have yet to release additional details regarding their roles in the case.
