A suspected DUI driver was hospitalized and later taken into custody following a hit-and-run crash involving three vehicles, including a Sacramento city bus, on Tuesday evening.
The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Heritage Lane and Arden Way. Authorities have not yet determined the exact circumstances that led to the crash.
Minor injuries were reported among the occupants of all vehicles involved. The suspect, who also sustained injuries, was transported to a hospital for treatment.
According to Sacramento police, the individual will be taken into custody once medically cleared.
The incident remains under investigation.
