A 30-year-old mother of three was killed in a head-on collision Wednesday night on Summit Valley Road near Las Flores Street.
The crash occurred around 8:29 p.m. when Lisa Deeds, driving a silver Acura TSX sedan southbound, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Cadillac Escalade SUV. Deeds was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a man, was hospitalized but reported to be conscious.
Deeds is remembered as a loving mother. A GoFundMe campaign, organized by Hanna Teal, has been launched to help cover funeral expenses and provide support for her three children.
The Hesperia Sheriff’s Station is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
