A teenager riding their electric bike was rushed to the hospital after a collision involving a pickup truck on Haven Avenue near 19th Street in Rancho Cucamonga Monday afternoon.
The crash reportedly happened after 2 p.m. The teen was traveling west in an unauthorized electric motorcycle as a pickup truck was approaching the intersection. The collision was said to be unavoidable, and it sent the teen flying over the truck and onto the street.
Witnesses say the teen failed to stop at a red light. They were taken to the hospital for multiple injuries, while the truck driver remained unharmed.
